Cost of flight to GenCon?

Post by Moonwolf »

To any Europeans, particularly Britdrekkers, how much is normal to pay, just for the flight to GenCon? I'm interested, but if flights are stupid, no can do.

If Flak is coming, I bet you could come along in his luggage for a fraction of the normal cost..... :D

If you book them at the right time, they can range from anywhere between 175 and 450 quid.

Yes, it has always been that way. You want to know why? Because Americans have more money than Europeans. You should see what tickets to and from Asia cost. It's ridiculous what the price differences are.

However, if you are a bit experienced in booking your tickets, and you're tenacious, or you have friends at airlines, you can usually cut about 25% off your ticket price. Most people are too lazy to do the looking, though.

It is. Same situation with Australia - to visit the US, I pay about half what an American pays to visit here, planet-ticket-wise.
