question of roadtrip
alrighty then, it seems Jes's luck has rubbed off onto me. As of last week I was put on notice by my attorney to be ready to go to DE to pick up my settlement check. In the next week to two weeks I will be waiting for my check and when I get it I will be doing a bit of roadtripping. First destination is Ontario Canada for a few days. From there I will be headed for SoCal. And then back to SC for a few days then movign up to Ontario. My roadtrip is opne for deviation in route and it would be possible to meet up with some people of interested. Let me know here and as things pan out I can give more details. My original idea is to ride but I may change that with the bizarre weather that has been unusually rainy of late and just use a car. Bike would be the prefered method for me so that is what I am leaning towards.

A roadtrip is relaxing to me. It allows me the freedom to take my time much easier then dealing with airport time tables. It allows me to have wheels at my destination without having to dealwith rental agencies. I am also not in a hurry. I have no real timetable that must be adheared to since once I get to canada I will in effect be starting all over again. Being relaxed will make that alot easier.Cash wrote:why not just fly?

shoudln't be a problem since I will have a laptop with me on the trip. (seriously thinking of the G4 Powerbook12 since size is a consideration adn in this case bigger isn't better)

Everything I needed was still in the monster tower sitting in the truck. Everything else was either not compatible with the tower (the 64mg video card) or had an equivilent in the tower already. The Zipdrive never got used once I got a CD burner. Oh and who got the monitor?;)
