[Chicago] Bulldrek Party at Bar Chicago

So I won a VIP Party at Bar Chicago, a dance club here in Chicago (80's/90's rock until about 1am, then progresively more hip hop/r&b). I get to invite as many people as I want (you're all invited of course). The deal includes cover, free draft beer, and $3 mixed drinks. I just have to figure out what date to have it on.

So question is.... Is anyone here interested in going, and what saturdays would be good for you? I want to have it sometime in July or August. I'm thinking maybe July 19, except I know that's the night of the Queensryche concert.

For those out of town I have quite a bit of crash space in my Condo, so places to sleep wouldn't be a problem.

Why certainly.... I'm basically inviting everyone I know, and everyone they know, and all the people those people know.

Ok... maybe not that extreme, but I have no problem with more people.

Just a note, the date is tentative. I just wanted to see if anyone here had any opinions one way or the other.

Assuming I haven't gotten some sort of job that would preclude it (mainly by me needing to move to another state prior), I think I could probably make this, actually. Getting to Chicago from Indy might be a problem initially, but one I'm sure we can solve easily by then.

I *definately* am gonna try to make it. Will know more after I see what kind of a toll GenCon takes on my pocketbook. I wanna come though. See, me and Bar Chicago have a history now.

Yeah, no real way for me to do Aug 2. In fact, I really don't have clear time until 2 weeks after that, and I'll probably end up with something to do then, too.

Also note, there is a good chance that the date will be bumped up to Aug 1. Apparently there is some silly boat show that everyone wants to go to here in Chicago (I personally think it sounds dumb).

Unless I get a certain call by Tuesday of next week I won't be able to make it. There had been a possibility that I might have had a small bit of cash this week that would have allowed me to ride up and join the party but as I said unless I still get it by Tuesday I won't be able to make it in time.
