Baring unforseen circumstances, are you planning to attend The Gathering?

I plan on coming, but as it stands I will only be able to arrive around the begining of Gen Con itself. I am able to stay after it, but not likely to arrive before it. Meri, Kain and K and I will be renting rooms at the Mariott so we don't need housing or what not.

I'd imagine that will happen, yes. We'll probably also set up the same deal as last year, where those who can commit to definitely being there will join a mailing list for serious planning action and financial commitment.

Right now it's at 20 which is approximately what I imagine it will be in the end, though I do expect it to be higher before we get a final tally: expecting probably 35-40 to say they are interested in going, but actually 20-25 to actually go in the end due to RL complications. It's still early in the game...

going. i want to go, it's been two years, i'm going. hell, this way Caz can bug me to get drawings done in person. so fuck work, fuck cashflow, fuck eventualities. if i have to, i'll hitch my way to the Gathering and eat tunafish and beans while i'm there.

however, in case of such an eventuality actually occuring, you might want to make sure the bathroom has one of those little fan dohickies. i mean, tunafish and beans...

I will be there. I'm employed and slowly working my way back to my feet financial. Additionally, once hard dates are nailed down, I'll have the vacation time approved. It's already approved that I'll be taking my vacation in mid-August.

It was a decision made a couple of years ago, back when WotC was still running GenCon and the sale to Peter Adkinson & co hadn't even been mooted. Moving it up threatened Origins, among other reasons, and IIRC there were some issues with Indy, since this is their first year in the new city.

I can not confirm nor deny attendance as so much of my current life is dependant on an insurance company. However, with that being said there is a good possability that I may just go regardless and fuck the consequences.

Well...for me it all depends on where it's being held. If it's being held in Indianapolis (the way it sounds like right now), I'm definately going, since I'm going to GenCon. Once there's a more definate idea as to where it's being held, I'll make my final decision then.

Well I have the following weeks for vacation so far: July 14th thru July 27th. So it looks real likely I am coming, UNLESS...I go to third shift. IF so i lose my vacation time. Which means I am still coming but only maybe for four or five days.

What's really sad, is that I haven't changed or updated it since I was last here in April. I should probably change it to something like "Beyond the Panic" given the current state of things. Enough clients to force us into 14 hour shifts and Jon's (partners) health being collapsing after the kidney failure.
