Art from someone else's head

So a question. Have you as an artist ever drawn/composed/wrote something that was descibed to you by someone else and had it be exactly perfect? Or have you've asked someone to do something like that, whether it be a comic book or manga artist, or just a friend, and been absolutely totally impressed on how accurate it was to what you had in mind?
