So over in Bish's birthday thread, Kai mentioned the idea of implementing a hack that would put a little happy birthday message for people on the front page when it's their birthday that users can choose to see or not. So what do people think?
I vote aye!
The 86 Rules of Boozing
75. Beer makes you mellow, champagne makes you silly, wine makes you dramatic, tequila makes you felonious.
I'd like to vote "Nay," on the grounds that I think there are things that need done much more than a birthday message [plus, I'm a scrooge, and I think birthdays are silly]. I expect to be over-ruled, but I just wanted to get my opinion out there anyway.
Of course there are a ton of things to get done, 70% of them are in the eternal Bulldrek limbo of there's no way to declare concensus, another 20% are in the limbo of no one wants to take the time to list these things, and its only the other 10% waiting for answers from upstream, time from me, or someone else to learn things to be able to help
10:41 Kai: Ohayou minna

10:44 Kai: Fuck off, how's that? ;P
10:45 Adam: Much better.
