Cheating.

Has anyone had to deal with cheating on their games? Just curious as to what happened, and how you dealt with it.

The only cheating I've ever seen is me as GM trying to fudge the rules to keep a player from a premature death. I've been pretty lucky to only get to play with trustworthy people--almost always close firends that would rather just have fun than be worried about any quote-unquote "winning".

I have to say my own experiences have been relatively the same. I've heard rumors and second hand stories of people who approached the game like ti was a competition to be won, but I am lucky to have never experienced that. (Well until very recently.)

Can't say it's been a problem in any RPG I've played in, Paul.

I've had players cheat on die rolls and fudge skill levels/ mods to "WIN".

I guess for a while I simply worked around them, but in the end they aren't welcome at the game table anymore.

I've encountered people who cheated on dicerolls in games in the past, if I was GM they got kicked, but usually it was in games I wasn't running which usually prompted myself and all the other actual RPers to leave the game.
