Looking for two Shadowrun books

Post by Adam »

Well, a quick trip into my local game store brings me one closer to having every FASA/FanPro published Shadowrun book. The two remaining ones are:

7111 DMZ — Downtown Militarized Zone
7210 Tir Tairngire

If anyone has these books and is willing to give them up in exchange for either a) 2002 FanPro products [Classic BattleTech and Shadowrun], b) upcoming FanPro products [Shadowrun, Classic BattleTech, or The Dark Eye], or c) upcoming Guardians of Order products that I worked on.

I'm not overly concerned about condition, but I would like them to be readable. :)

Odd choices, Adam old boy. The DMZ boxed set is about as useful as horse spit. The only reason I got it was because it was up for auction and I'm an anal retenetive completist fragger who thought it'd look good on my shelf.

Err... if you'll note from my original post, that's exactly what I'm doing; buying the only two English-language books that I don't already have.

Okay, that wasn't implicitly stated, but truth be told I was just wanting to bad-mouth DMZ. It's really sorta pathetic.

Cazmonster goes to get the blast shields out of storage, because Adam's about to get all 'Fuck You' up in here.

Too late, Caz. :-)

Yes, but that could've been because you're a fan or an overly-obsessive GM, as opposed to a completist ass such as myself.

You stated the goal without stating the purpose.

Would anyone actually buy DMZ to /use/, in 2003? If I was an obsessive minis-loving GM, I would have bought it years ago.

Incidentally, completed a trade for both books as of yesterday. Now, to ship the rest of my RPG collection across the country... and to buy a new bookshelf.

History, what the hell? You've been here long enough to make a third of a thousand posts and you don't know who Adam is and what he does? What kind of mouth breather are you to have a gnatlike attention span and yet be able to post repeatedly.

Get your head out of your ass and look around.

Oh Caz, I love you - but no worries. I think some of the stuff that Ancient History has compiled is pretty cool and useful. He may not love me, but that's not a crime.

They deserved to be in a more complete collection, anyway. :D

Admittedly I need to grab DMZ as well. That and most of the 1str edition stuff. With the exception of modlues/adventures I got most of the stuff printed for SR except the new stuff. I probably should try to get the adventures too though I'm willing to bet that will be a difficult goal indeed.

Hum, very tempting. We'll have to discuss that sometime :)

Ah, Bottled Demon - featuring the most underutilized Shadowrun location: The Junkyard.

Cazmonster wakes up in the Junkyard, asks about The King.

SR for the SNES was a hoot.

No man, it sucked so much I had to play, and finish it 4 times on my SNES and twice on my PC. ;)

Hey, I know who Adam is! Ghost knows I've read enough posts on the 'Shock to know what he does too. I was just pullin' his chain a little (heady rush from having some internet access again...I've been without for like, weeks.)

And Ghost only knows, we ALL love Adam...
