S&S: A Sneaky Peek

Post by Cazmonster »

Just got done piecing this spell together and I figured you'd all want to see it.

Remote Viewer
Transmutation (Scrying)
Level: Tech 3
Components: V, S, W
Casting Time: 10 minutes
Range: Unlimited
Effect: Enhances Technomagical Sensor
Duration: 10 min./level (D)
Saving Throw: None
Spell Resistance: No

You enchant a remote viewer, a small technomagical construct with the powers of flight, invisibility and a connection that can send you visual and auditory information. The remote viewer can travel outside of your line of sight without hindrance. A remote viewer can travel at up to 60 feet per round and provide blurry motion-jumpy visions. If it moves 30 feet per round, it relays clear vision as a human viewer might (primarily looking at the floor). At its slowest speed, 10 feet per round, it can provide clear vision of the walls and ceiling as well. It can also hover if you so desire. The viewer has only normal vision unless further enhanced. The viewer can travel in any direction as long as the spell lasts. Solid barriers block its passage, but it can pass through a hole or space as small as 1 foot in diameter.
You must concentrate to use a remote viewer. If you do not concentrate, the viewer is inert until you again concentrate. The viewer does make some noise as it passes, a DC 16 Listen check will reveal the device’s passage.
At the end of the spell's duration, the viewer floats to the ground just as if a Fly spell had ended.
Widget: A football-sized, winged, technomagical construct.
