So this is interesting.

In the SST forum, users are free to discuss philosophy, music, art, religion, sock colour, whatever. It's a haven from the madness of Bulldrek; alternately intellectual and mundane, this is where the controversy takes place.

Earthdawn returns next year.

Not really sure that's a good thing, honestly.

Hmm, not much information there to really pass judgement on.

Definitely worth keeping an eye on the blog, but yeah, I'm dubious. I guess, ultimately, it's going to depend on the skill of the developers...and I may be too wedded to the work of the first edition developers to make a useful transition.

There's also my long-held belief that I prefer the kind of developer who makes the first edition of something, not the developer who just keeps rehashing someone else's 20-year-old ideas.

I like a lot of the general talk I'm reading on the blog, but some of the specifics don't impress much. I'd love to playtest this, but my experience with playtesting hasn't been all that great. :)
