I started college in 2003, but I changed my major and took like two and a half years off in the middle.

No, particularly if you enjoy schooling, and are thus more likely to take a few extra classes...or if you just kind of screw about, like I did. Am doing, really.

What kind of degree did you end up getting? And how well did you do in school?
