Teen Charged for Sending Nude Photos of Herself.
We had a similar thread a few years ago here, so I thought I'd throw this out for discussion. Not only is she charged with juvenile pornography for owning and sharing nude photos of herself, other students may be charged as well.
Personally, I think this is extremely silly, but what do you all think?

I don't understand how anyone can be charged with kiddie porn if they're the model. Don't they see themselves in the shower and when they change? Are they then watching something illegal? Should we blindfold the children?!
Now, sending out the photos? I can see that as distributing kiddie porn. Let her go to juvie for a while. Maybe she'll realize how dumb it is to go flaunting her nekkid self.

I have no problem with charging an underage model with distribution if she's the photographer, and she's distributing the pictures/videos. I'm pretty much with UncleJoseph here. The distribution is a problem, regardless of age. If you modify the punishment in light of their youth, that seems right and fair to me.
