A muscle car will always be the late 60s/early 70s cars that were ideal for racing.
My personal top 5:
1. 1969 Mustang Mach I 390 (I still weep that I sold this car)
2. 1969/70 GTO with the trip-deuces.
3. 1969 442
4. 1967 Chevelle (427 engine)
5. 1971 Road Runner
I'd have to say that any V8 Firebird, Mustang or Camaro comes to mind when someone says "Muscle Car," particularly my old 2000 Pontiac Formula LS1. However, other cars are the Mopar Muscle cars such as the Dodge Chargers, Dodge Challengers and Plymouth Barracudas. The Olds 442 also comes to mind, as does the Chevelle, the Pontiac GTO and the like.
If you take away their comforts, people are just like any other animal.
