I think that covers the highlights.

Still at GE

Went to Europe last month.

Last year was...fairly uneventful.

Well except for the regular DJing for Bellydance events. That is newish.

Got married, been doing the recovery thing, in pain management therapy now. Building a 1962 Austin Healey Sprite since I really can't safely ride, gives me something to do instead of pining over not riding. Still haven't sent my Digital Rebel off to be repaired.

Only moved across the country and back once since then.

4 jobs.

1 wife (still married).

I've met more Bulldrekkers in person after Bulldrek than during it's life-cycle.

Finally decided what the fuck I'm going to do with my life.

Fell out of love.

Fell back in love.

Thought seriously about marriage.

Worked.

Studied.

Mellowed out a bit.

Became less of a dick.

And that's about it.
Geneticists have established that all women share a common ancestor, called Eve, and that all men share a common ancestor, dubbed Adam. However, it has also been established that Adam was born 80.000 years after Eve. So, the world before him was one of heavy to industral strength lesbianism, one assumes.

Been lurking around the other communities for a bit. Something about the comforting blue makes me want to post more, though.

Still have more kids than sense, still in the military till they kick me out or my kids don't need doctors. On the newish side, I've apparently decided that I really hate money and gotten into Warhammer.

* Wrangled my way out of soul-destroying job.
* Went back to university to begin an MBA; had a blast. Transferred to an IT degree and hated it.
* Began a fun and lucrative career in information management.
* Said career was abruptly terminated by illness.
* Have been loafing about, trying to recover, for almost a year now. It's getting very old.
* Hoping to ramp up to fulltime work again, working from home, assuming my health continues to improve.

That's the short, short version. Though I don't think the long version is any more exciting, really.

Um...I'm in a band. I'm recording. I'm teaching. I'm driving, a lot. I'm playing in bunch of orchestras. I quit one crap job that was slowly destroying me. Took a different crap job at much reduced hours and working at slowly destroying it. Need to see how the summers turn out before I can quit it completely. In the mean time, though, cello cello cello cello. And then after I quit the job...cello cello cello and more cello.

Amen for that, Next month marks the 1 year mark for my last actual surgery, but, December and February saw 2 emergancy nerve blocks done thru the front side of my neck next to my voicebox. The results of which just started to wear down, so when I go back on the 3rd I get to see if they are going to do another.

Flame, take your time, no rush. We are just letches thinking of the menage's that scenario evokes within our letcherous brains.

I still work in Civil Service, as a Civil Civil Servant. My servitude continues apace, but has shown, of recent, some progress.

I have stopped playing Shadowrun for a while, and picked up Dungeons and Dragons of all things.

I've moved around a little, and now I live in Grand Rapids, a city I've always loved. I now live with a woman I love more than anything. We have an amazing life, a great apartment and an all around good time.

Went to college, mostly. Swapped majors from computer science to political science. Went through some pretty serious psych shit and almost flunked out twice. Worked at FedEx, worked in a warehouse, waited tables, and now I'm taking a semester off and working in inbound sales for a bug-control company saving enough to get the hell back and finish my degree.

I know!

You know, it's funny because I have heard so much about Bulldrek from Paul, that sometimes I FEEL like I know what all you crazies are talking about, and I FEEL like the memories are mine...

It's fun to finally be able to browse through here and see what Paul has been talking about.

I hit these boards up a couple of times before they died when P and I first started dating but really, I haven't been subjected to the depravity that was BD.

Now I log in and see some references to a black van, and nekkidness... The ride should be fun, and I am looking forward to seeing how this goes.

I know I said it before 32, but thanks!

Boring notes about my life below -- though honestly I don't think anyone can beat FlameBlade on this one.

Worked bullshit temp jobs in college town.
Moved home for a few weeks before travelling the country visiting friends and family (and looking for work)
Moved home again, worked at Target Halloween through Valentine's (more or less).
Moved to LA to live with friends there between the Game Developer's Convention and their wedding.
Found a job at Vivendi Universal Games in LA, continued living with said friends.
Friends moved back to New York, I stayed and continue to work at Vivendi Games. Currently have my name on a few shipped titles, mostly as QA, but 1 as a Scripter. Working on a few side projects to shop around as demos to get into a better position (though I can't say as my current one is bad -- it pretty much rules).
complete. dirty. whore.

Hmmm. Still working the same IT job, though the company has moved offices to a place further away from where I live so I now take the train most of the way and walk the last 1.5 miles or so (with a wonderfull 1:3 or better hill near the end of the walk, my leg muscles love me!)

I started to learn to speak/write Japanese

My interest in manga and anime has reawakened, so my ISP must be wondering why I am suddenly using 90% of my monthly bandwith allowance every month.

My continued failure to learn how manage money has resulted in a room full of shiny things and a bank account full of less than nothing which I feel is an abomination against nature and that that account should be reset to exactly nothing to keep things neat.

I stopped playing Everquest 2

I restarted playing City of Heroes, Villains and Confused Pedestrians.

I still ocassionally play EvE Online.
