(Somewhat) NWS - Why Anakin really switched to the Dark Side

In the SST forum, users are free to discuss philosophy, music, art, religion, sock colour, whatever. It's a haven from the madness of Bulldrek; alternately intellectual and mundane, this is where the controversy takes place.

For them, I'd switch...just about anything to whatever side they wanted.

Holy crap, I'm definitely making this one a SR character. Oh my, the glorious essence loss involved in being battle-ready but looking like that. Nearly seven feet tall, and much heavier than you'd expect, even at that height. And that skin is not soft at all. Mmm . . . deliciously twisted. Definitely going in with the Drug Nun somewhere.
There is then a need to guard against a temptation to overstate the economic evils of our own age, and to ignore the existence of similar, or worse, evils in earlier ages. Even though some exaggeration may, for the time, stimulate others, as well as ourselves, to a more intense resolve that the present evils should no longer exist, but it is not less wrong and generally it is much more foolish to palter with truth for good than for a selfish cause. The pessimistic descriptions of our own age, combined with the romantic exaggeration of the happiness of past ages must tend to setting aside the methods of progress, the work of which, if slow, is yet solid, and lead to the hasty adoption of others of greater promise, but which resemble the potent medicines of a charlatan, and while quickly effecting a little good sow the seeds of widespread and lasting decay. This impatient insincerity is an evil only less great than the moral torpor which can endure, that we with our modern resources and knowledge should look contentedly at the continued destruction of all that is worth having. There is an evil and an extreme impatience as well as an extreme patience with social ills.

It's a riddle. Took me a while to understand it the first time I entered the website, but here's the answer:

Hmm. I get 7577goco, but that doesn't seem to work.

My work, in case that helps, including my methods of visualization:

Code: Select all

oboe
fobo
ofob
cofo
ocof
foco
[edit]Slightly too late, not that I mind, since I do like a decent pattern-riddle; this one took me almost five minutes, mostly because of the hanging intro on the letter combination.

URL still doesn't work for me.[/edit]

No. :) But I don't care; I just wanted to solve a puzzle: it doesn't matter to me what's on the page.

The jedi knights are sworn to celibacy, like their fathers, and their fathers before them.

Oh, is that all. (Celibacy is merely the act of not getting married.)

Looking at the movies "old world ideas with new world technology" theme I think we can safely assume that the older definition would apply to Anakin.
Thus. Bring on the gungan hoes! (Just keep that minister away.)

Last thread on the page! I think I won.

After many years and after everyone stopped caring, but I've won.
