I am now a black belt in Shotokan Karate.
I found out last night after class. Course my sensei is doing his normal drag his feet approach and is not announcing it to the class until he feels "right" doing so.
Oh well, it is good to know I have now accomplished that which I set out to do 5 years ago.

I want to shoot one of these Church kids and ask them "Where is your god now!"

Out of idle curiosity, what martial arts experience do people here have?
Officially, I've trained in Nontraditional Wing Chun, Shito-Ryu Karate, American Kenpo, three different unnamed self-defense arts, Pankration, and most recently, Yang Style Tai Chi. (Great for an old fogey like myself.) Unofficially, I'd add Kajukembo, Kali/Escrima, some Krav Maga, Judo, Brazillian Jujutsu, Jun Fan/Jeet Kune Do, Americanized Muay Thai, and two other unnamed arts to that list. (There are probably others that are eluding me at present.)
Oh, and Congrats! Remember, though, it's not the belt that matters. It's the person wearing it.
