Rock Paper Scissors baby.

Of course, we also call it "Shake ya for it" when nobody's within earshot.

Rock, scissors, paper, as far as I can recall.
Geneticists have established that all women share a common ancestor, called Eve, and that all men share a common ancestor, dubbed Adam. However, it has also been established that Adam was born 80.000 years after Eve. So, the world before him was one of heavy to industral strength lesbianism, one assumes.

Ahh perhaps I should explain why I wondered. I always thought the name of the game was RPS, but then I have been reading a couple of books on Game Theory (such as 'A Gentle Introduction to Game Theory') lately and RPS is a common example in the first couple of chapters but the author (which is american - Saul Stahl) insists on calling the game RSP which when I make my own calculations and compare them to his it usually throws it off a bit, by changing the collumns for S and P.

If you have RPS you have the loosing streak, rock loses to paper, paper to scissors and scissors to rock. But if you have RSP you have to win streak, rock smashes scsissors, they cut paper and paper wraps around the rock. So I guess from that standpoint one isn't more "correct" then the other. It is just that I learned the name of the game is RPS and wanted to make sure I wasn't the only one that thought so.

If one wants to go further the name of the game in swedish is sten - sax - påse (which translates to rock - scissors - bag), changing the paper to a bag instead. So in direct translation one would think I would be much more comfortable with his version (RSP) but I'm not.

Anyway that was the reason. Thanks for your participation.
