Here's the problem:
The damned thing has started randomly rebooting itself two or three times a day. Any ideas on what is making it do this?
Help, my computer is completely fuxxored

I'm going to beat everyone else to the punch and ask you a question, what are your hardware specs? What OS do you use? etc... Otherwise, it's kind of hard to answer your question. As a generic answer, have you checked your power supply?

Got it last summer. And how old is your computer?
No message. The screen just goes black for a few seconds and it reboots. What message are you getting with the reboot, or are you not getting any - just a reboot, as opposed to a crash/reboot?
Installed Halo on Christmas, nothing since then.Have you installed any new software lately? Scanned for viruses with an up to date virus definition? Run a full scandisk on your hard drive?
Last virus scan was on Friday and it didn't find anything.
Have to check when the last Scandisk was.

My roomate had the exact same problem this summer, his computer screen would just go black and the system would reboot. He found out that it did happen a lot more when the computer was in a cold room. If the computer was somewhere hot, it wouldn't shut down like it use to do.
He finnaly found out that it was his motherboard that was fucked up, for some reason the heat sensor was fucked up.
