Nope. And your sig is weird to me. *pause* right. New thread in the Embassy.

My sig is bound to be weird if you don't have "Smooth edges of screen fonts" on. I'll be rebuilding it, on Thorn's advice.

Nooo.
Right-click on your desktop. Choose [Properties.] Click on the [Effects] tab. Fill the check for "Smooth Edges of Screen Fonts."
It's totally worth it.

Yeesh. That explains why you could never properly see it.
Well, I'll be bumping the point size up one soon.

I always liked the way the text looked when it was 6 point and smoothed, but Bethy could never see it right - Windows 95 - and Caz and Thorn couldn't see it right - Mac. So I'm going to bump it until it looks right without smoothing. The only reason it's that small is because I didn't want to have this enormous sig taking up half the page, but mine's actually smaller than a lot of text-only sigs, so who cares?

Of course I would. I mean, I'm changing the text size for other people. The current sig is a significant variation on the old one, because people complained and suggested. I'm all about the public opinion. I don't know why, but I am.
I just realized that I joined the board on Valentine's Day. How's that for irony? Hey, baby!

I just rebuilt the sig. I increased the text size to 9 points from 8, which doesn't seem like a big change, but it is. You should no longer /need/ to have font smoothing on. It still looks better, but everything does. If nothing else, it should be readable.
While I was at it, I rewrote the page to make it faster and smaller, trimmed the random quotes down, and reformatted them, because lord knows I don't have enough to do already.

Still blank. Of course it does that because you're not here to fix it and all. And since it's the same everywhere I could be really obnoxious and hmmm.....

Tangent: I was always rather disdainful about Austen Powers, until I saw the second movie in the cinema and laughed so hard that it hurt. Now I eagerly await the third instalment, The Movie Formerly Known As Goldmember. And the presence of Seth Green won't hurt, either.
...Is this the first mention of Seth in the new forum? Hmm. Surely someone's at least talked about Vin by now.

I saw a trailer for Vin's movie xXx with Resident Evil, looked pretty good for an action/spy flick.

I'm not Kwyn, and I haven't seen it... all I can contribute is that I've heard /really/ mixed reviews. Some terrible, some glowing. Not much consensus at all.

Sci-Fi type movies almost never get good reviews. Same thing with cartoons marketed at an adult audience.

Resident Evil was... Well, I saw it for free, so it kicked ass. It's an excellent zombie flick, but like most zombie flicks, there is only a pretense at a plot or dialogue. I have no idea what any of the character's names were, except Claire, and that only because she wears the same clothes.
