The Day the Dollar Fell

Post by DV8 »

Quite some time ago, back in 2005, I mentioned an interested documentary that I wish was in English so that some of you guys could enjoy it, too. It's called The Day the Dollar Fell in which the makers hypothesize what could (not would) happen if the dollar collapses. It seems they responded to my call, and subbed the episode on YouTube and you can watch it here.

I love this show, it's the only program I watch on television.

Nice someone finally translated it. It's a good documentary, as the other Dennis already said, so go and invest that bit of time and see it :)
It's lonely at the top. But it's comforting to look down upon everyone at the bottom.

I don't have the time to watch it right now, but how accurate were they?

Well, they purposefully sketch a doomsday scenario that ends in war within 24 hours, but a lot of the early hours of the scenario was remarkably similar to what happened recently.
