While sitting in my living room today, I started hearing what sounded like a Cylon Centurion standing at my back door...you know, that whah-whah...whah-whah noise they make? I'd been hearing it off and on all day. Another few centons, and I'd have grabbed my battle rifle and prepared for the Centurion that was certain to come through my back door.
Fortunately, I discovered that the sound was a reverberating resonant frequency produced by an echo between mine and my neighbors houses by his leaf blower. I could hear the leaf blower, and knew that it was a leaf blower, but the additional, seemingly unrelated whah-whah...whah-whah it produced was eerily similar to the Centurion.
With that, I picked up watching the original Galactica series about 1/2 way through The Gun On Ice Planet Zero Part 2, which I had stopped watching about 9 months ago.
Now I have to prepare for a Cylon invasion?
