Oh hell no...not a chance. Especially the top 50 or so posters would be definate somebodies. Especially those over p1k.

Not-so-hapless bystander #1, then?

It's as easy as 1, 2, 3

Step 1: Delete WinME
Step 2: Install a real OS (that is, one that actually operates), such as Win2k, Linux or Be.
Step 3: Set folder access.

sorry...I've only played the game once. Yeah, same here... I own... a deck. I've gotten to play once with it. It's a neat game, just never had anyone to play with, and no desire to get other to play when I had Magic, Star Trek, Star Wars, Rage (which I also only played once, I think), Battle someth...

Re: Bulldrek: The Card Game

I mean, postcounts take the place of mana pools. Land Cards /become/ posts...posts can be used to play powers, personallities and Threads, and whatnot...AIGHHHHHH. But it would be rather entertaining to have a 99/99 Cazmonster running around...Then having him get Listed by the opponent across the t...

Re: SR: Drones 101

Drones CANNOT function independently of their control network Ever hear about Auto-Navs? They work independently from a Control network. Drone-Pilots are more powerful than any level of Autonav with one exception: they can't always plot their own course. Of course, neither can an Auto-Nav, really.....

Well Anguirel, get all uppity and offended, why don't you? I will. Especially when you're being a complete ass about things, and an idiot to boot. First off, a gun, a turret, and an autosoft wouldn't amount to shit. That'd basically leave me with a rifle, a tripod, and an optical chip. I suppose pu...

No rigger would even be required to program it in the first place. No matter what you use, someone has to program it. Might as well be a rigger. It would be a gun on a collapsible tripod, rigged up with electrical motors and such wired to a motion tracker (or some other kind of sensor(s)), that is ...

I understood what you wanted perfectly well. I just think that the drone rules would work for it... And no, the sentry guns I am talking about cannot be drones; they simply do not function the same way drones do. They are fully autonomous. They do not utilize a drone-control network of any kind. The...

I like the idea of Post Count determining effect/power level. Indeed. The way it has been implemented is good (since post-pumping through useless actions is nigh impossible unless the whole group is partaking in that style of play). Now for the drinking version, where "Smite Tokens" are s...

I was thinking of, like I mentioned before, auto-sentry guns (ala the movie Aliens ). Like I said last time, drone-guns (just pay for pilot, sensors, turret and weapon, possibly add in Sniper Autosoft and Clearsight Autosoft (if you have a chip burner, this could be a one-time cost / computer test ...

If I did go in alone, I'd ask for help. "Hi. Would this fit me?" :D No, no, no... The proper line is "Can you model this for me?" This should only follow your initial walking up and appraising of the clerk's size and shape. Bonus points for asking the clerk to turn around, stret...

How does the Guild make money? At the moment Bulldrek only seems to have 45 cred and this just wont do. Well, not quite a "Me Too". I'm a Comp. Sci. rather than a Software Engineer. I can program or design algorithms, or do all sorts of useful stuff, really... but I'm not getting any responses along the US East Coast, and I've already expanded my search a few times. If not actual jobs direct...

Re: SR: Home Defenses for the Ultra-Paranoid (a.k.a. smart)

Just make drones using Rigger3 rules... You can leave out the power source from those that could run off house power (though that could be cut, making it a potential problem), such as immobile auto-turrets... heck, just pay for turrets, guns and pilots. If you wanted more, you could add a layer of r...

OT: Fun with statistics

In America, 2 people per capita make up statistics to support themselves. Well, that one I got from a report a read a couple months back.
