The school doesn't own the cars, which they also searched under the same circumstances.
Of course, they could have searched the lockers first. Upon finding drugs/contraband in there, there's plenty of probable cause to search the car.

3. Yelling at me for barking... I'M A FRIGGIN' DOG YOU IDIOT!! Then I'll damned well keep yelling at you until you shut the fuck up. Barking isn't a doggie imperative. Neither of the two dogs I owned growing up ever, ever, barked in the house. Ok, not exactly true; Sasha would bark once when the UP...

The reason why is A) it is not polite to use those words. B) consideration for those who can hear you, but do not want to. C) if you are serious about asking why, then you really are a child and need to be treated as one. None of these reasons has anything to do with law. Manners, perhaps, but not ...

Or started to be diagnosed.

Badd divide there.
Yeah, probably.
After school sports and debate teams /are/ part of a system that is declared to be provided for every student equally.
Does that mean that quadriplegics get a spot on the basketball team?

The leaders of the Sicilian mob didn't dissolve it to attempt to prevent violence.
And neither did the leader of the Klan. He wanted to keep the violence controlled and specifically targeted, but certainly didn't want it to stop completely.

If a student is deprived of life, liberty, or property without the due process of law, then their constitutional rights are being violated.
How does not participating in an extra-curricular debate team deprive someone of any of these things?

If it's a not a criminal offense, then you can't take anything from them. Well, chewing gum in school isn't a criminal offense, and they can take away an afternoon if you do that. Of course, it can easily be argued that the students aren't being asked to answer for a crime; at least, not in the legal, jail-time type way for which the Constitution is written. There's no criminal case involved at all, so the lovely crimson phrase doesn't really apply. No one is being deprived o...

These aren't prisoners of war. Prisoners of war implies that we've captured soldiers. These people aren't soldiers, but are cowards trained to only attack civilians. Just to be clear, I was not advocating that we 'be nice' to the Afghani prisoners just because I think we shouldn't be mean. Yes. I looked for it, and I couldn't find anything. The only thing in the 'scarecrow' scene that even remotely resembled a dustcloud was very clearly woodsmoke coming from what looked to me like a thatched roof.
