Yes, they do, but I'm not sure if Autozone would have the correct OBD Scanner for that type of car. They couldn't read mine, and it's a 94 Grand Prix.

Ray: Do you have it set on Defrost? I remember reading a while ago, that set on Defrost, the A/C will kick on, to help with the fog on the inner part of the windshield. Just a thought. That's only on pure defrost, though, not set on the other vents.

Try some fuel injector cleaner, every time you fill up, for a couple weeks. "Check engine" light coming on? If it's not the injectors, that sounds like a vacuum leak and/or bad sensor, probably MAP, EGR, or oxygen sensor.

EGR Valve

Could need a tune up, as well.
