Article on the Military-Industrial Complex
This is an interesting article that was sent to me by Eva from the January edition of The Atlantic. It's about the Military-Industrial complex; The Tyrannhy of Defense Inc. I have no clear opinion on it, but I found it a fascinating read so I thought I'd share it with you guys and gals.

A month or two ago two Italian scientists claimed to have unlocked the secret of cold fusion and claimed they would start commercial production of these units. I don't believe it because it's the holy grail of clean energy production. And because they're Italians. And because they won't submit to pe...

On the point of legalisation, there are a lot of people that make a lot of money out of drugs. If someone where to suddenly make all drugs legal those people would lose their considerable incomes. People with considerable incomes have a great many resources at their disposal for making sure that th...

Conspiracy Theories
There are many conspiracy theories, go to Alex Jones' site and you'll find some wild ones, and I like them all, though believe almost none of them. Here's something that gets my spidey sense tingling; The Mystery of the Tainted Cocaine. Enjoy.

I have two friends that work in argaeology and they said something very similar to what you said. :) Well if they work in argaeology aren't they studying how people were gay in the past? Seems their methods of determination would be higher than in archaeology. :lol That's a particularly unfortunate...

Now, the question is, can we create a singularity while we're there, and if so, how should we go about doing that? How anybody reads this without thinking it's a euphemism for surreptitio...

So, a friend of mine, Francis, had a brilliant idea as a birthday present to his best friend Roger; take him for a day trip to Geneva and a tour of the LHC at CERN. He asked if I wanted to go with him. I said yes. I asked Heavy D if he wanted to go with us. He said yes. We're still ironing out the d...

I don't think vasting is silly at all. It's easy to get lost in gluttony so a change to sobriety every once in a while is a pretty good thing. Not sure how gluttony and sobriety relate. Or why my thinking fasting is silly implies that I'm suddenly supporting gluttony. Two ends of a spectrum, I ackn...

Awesome Pets
So when most people consider having a pet, they think of cats, dogs, a bird or two, maybe some fish, but I recently saw some translucent jellyfish in an aquarium, in a clear tank with a black light on them, and from what I've read they require little maintenance, and look like a real life lava lamp....

That's unfortunate. I have to admit I find it hard to find the time as well, but a lot of the brunt of the work is developing the concept, which I can do while on my way to work, ride an elevator and do other mundane things. What's left to do is a couple of hours of crunching and jotting things down...

We ended up stopping fairly soon before I rebooted the story with different characters about a year and a half later. It turned into an almost year-long campaign that is, to date, my most accomplished campaign. I was really happy with the pacing and the scaling of the story and I'm actually quite ke...

I usually watch everything almost autistically in one go, but once I'm all caught up I'll watch it by week because it severely fucks with my productivity if I get hooked to watching something. It means I do very little else. :) Oh, and TSCC was really very good. Brian Austin Green actually impressed...

I just had sushi, sashimi and yakitori for dinner. Now that I've stuffed myself with lean proteine, I'm going to do some work on Corrosion.

Yeah, no. It ties in with the idea that people have become to used to getting their way as a customer. That you can sharpen your demand to a fine edge and still be able to find a product that perfectly fits your particular demand. You want a pickle-flavoured cornflake that has hot-dog sprinkles on i...

I was told about this by a colleague who said he wasn't sober while he watched it and found the rather epileptic way of filming to be too much for him to handle, so he switched it off. He didn't switch it off because he didn't like it, he switched it off because he couldn't handle it without freakin...
