Face first into my Master's studies. I'm working at the University as an Assistant in the Department of Criminal Justice, as well. I just finished up the first draft of the literature review section of my thesis (a major pain in my ass, but happy to have it finally accomplished) regarding Eastern Eu...

Heck yes I think the United Nations is important still. Of course, I'm not familiar with much of their operations beyond UNHCR and UNICEF, but both of those division are much needed. It really matters whether you're more loyal to your nation or to the global community. I'm a human rights activist. T...

Hahaha! And after that other thread, I totally thought you were going to say that due to the overwhelming majority of opinions you'd gotten, that you'd decided to become...*drumroll*... a PORN STAR! Hahaha. :) Too funny dude. I'm surprised you don't hang around me more, man. I have tons of single, c...

I’ve yet to meet a guy who was into chains and whips (Bondage, light or heavy, or whatever else that might be), but I have to think about how many girls I have met that aren’t. Seriously? Our experiences differ then. it seems to be the mindset in advertising in Vienna that everything needs a woman’...

I had to google that. Wow. I am very out of the loop on this Desperate Housewives thing. Damn. It's got quite the delicious plot. I really like the show. Why do just guys need to realize this? Oops. Thanks for catching that one. I did mean people in general, not men in particular. It's just a commo...

I'm really not into much porn. I've seen it and it just seemed rather stupid to me. I'd get far more turned on by a steamy scene in a film or a book with a plot, and with characters that seemed like real people - than I would with some of the porn that is out there, with no plot, and with actors who...

Most film stuff is done on Mac's. I'm not sure what OS you use, Flak, but if you have a mac, the easiest would probably be iMovie. However, the programs more professional editors use are Avid Express or Final Cut Pro. You'd have to check to see if they were PC or not though because I am not sure if ...

I suggest chemical castration simply because it solves the issue at hand. Other crimes were not mentioned earlier, and I truly do not believe that the chemical castration process would cause rapists to turn into murderers anyways. Rapists have a mental predisposition to committing the sexual-based o...

Re: Sexual Predators.
Obviously there is a problem, one I feel that is even larger than these numbers let on. So what do we do? My response is obvious, but am I missing something? And, as you point out, what those statistics don't show is the scope of unreliability that the UCR and NCVS have. (Uniform Crime Report and N...

So to make a long-story short, my older sis (the one who works in Hollywood) has been requested to do a script. (This is a HUGE step in her career.) In part for her mass amounts of research she'll be doing, she has asked if I could please poll some people I know, particularly those in the age range ...

Should be noted, too, though, that at most undergraduate universities in the United States, students are required to take a certain amount of history (usually 1-2 classes) to fulfill general education requirements. At most institutions larger than the community college level, courses are offered tha...

I think Student Government is beneficial for two reasons. First off, for students who have a genuine interest in administration, policy, or politics, it offers them a good basic first impression of how things work. It exposes them to the competitiveness of elections, the importance of integrity, tha...

Grrrrrrrarrrrrr. That judge needs to be taken off the bench. It's quite likely, if not probable, that the article was a little slanted unless that judge was totally off of his rocker. If he wanted to teach the girls a lesson, he should have charged them with the minimal amount of damages allowed - $...

When you go into a career that has celebrity status, you should expect a certain level of your privacy to be diminshed. People are going to plaster your face on ads everywhere.
