Except for almost everything we decided to do in Iceland. While we came away (miraculously) unscathed, statistically it was a miracle.Big Jim wrote:Good choices!

If you haven't been watching Person of Interest I want to highly suggest it-great plots, fun takes on technology and surveillance techniques; I think it's impressively tied up a multi season arc, with a great selection of soundtrack music! Agreed. I wasn't sure near the end of the first season wher...

I'm sorry, 32, I didn't mean to creep you out. We were talking about all the stuff you were doing with your kid, about how you were teaching her different things while going on trips and such, and we both came to the conclusion that she would likely turn into a really intelligent woman -- the type w...

The thing I miss is Marius. I talked to him briefly this week - he's, like, a genuine doctor-type-thing now - and then talked so much about him afterward that my daughter asked if I was going to marry him. I told her if he were a girl, I'd be all over that...but that his being a boy might not stop ...

There's plenty of people that feel there's something more than we know about, without buying into organised religion. I can't help but think that all of the Republican candidates are so weak. So incredibly weak. They had the same problem the last time around. What I wouldn't give for the power to instantly locate any Bulldrekker anywhere in the world and tell everyone what they were up to. Like, what's Spiral doing? Is Vralkie dead yet? Hell, Marius could be hit by a bus and we wouldn't know for some long while. I need to get me some superpowers. Having...

11 Minutes Per Hour
In the Netherlands there's a legal limit of 11 minutes per hour of commercial airtime, per channel. (I'm sure that there are special rules regarding infomercials, but they play at economically barren times with less than 0.1 grps anyway. Also, there are special rules on the amount of sponsoring in a...

BD on iPhone
I just wanted to let you know that bulldrek doesn't render very well on the iPhone and perhaps also on Safari. The bottom menu sort of hangs half way on the screen and the top of the page is hidden underneath some black square. If you care to fix that I can provide with some screen shots. Let me know.

"Why did Japan surrender?"
Because I know we're all historians here and all have a fascination with all things kablowie, I thought you guys might enjoy this article on an alternate reason as to why Japan surrendered at the end of WWII. Why did Japan surrender? Sixty-six years ago, we dropped a nuclear bomb on Hiroshima. Now, ...
