Personally, I've never been able to make it work decently. Does anyone here know a good place to find the torrents ofr Battlestar Galatica season 2? I've got a friend who is cable-less. mininova.org If you are looking for older episodes I might suggest mininova since most other sites of this nature...

I watched The Shield a couple weeks ago, but there were only four seasons, so I ran out quickly. Last weekend I watched Lost, but I only had half a season of that, so all week I've been browsing torrent sites for any titles that might keep me mildly entertained. Season 5 starts in feb or was it mar...

I reserve might right to make fun of nuts of any religion or non at all for that matter. I don't consider that as being blind or intolerant at all, why should I have to respect their crap if they don't respect mine or that of others? To blame a series of books, in this case Harry Potter, is just pla...

Re: Dear God! The Pope vs Harry Potter
Hardly surprising that the pope (or well he wasn't the pope at the time he said it) wouldn't be down with Harry Potter. All that nasty witchcraft and all, afterall didn't Ratz head up what used to be the inquisition? That's why we should all pray to Saint Clinton. He feels our pain, after all. Talki...

When the get the government to impose a tax on computers simply to pay off the big media companies, is my guess. That or they make everything pay-per-play. We are not there quite yet but over here we have an extra tax on recordable audio cassettes, vhs tapes, cdr and all forms of writable dvd discs...

Reputable? It probably depends on whom you listen to. The MPAA sued over TV downloads I guess you can figure out their position. The case has yet to be settled. Personally thou I doubt it would matter much to the downloaders even if they came to the illegal conclusion. The culture consumption patter...

MJ innocent or what ...
So they didn't find Michael Jackson guilty. Agree? Disagree? Sure we have in previous postings concluded that MJ is kind of weird (to put it mildly).
Was it his "star power", complete lack of evidence etc etc that did it?

OK so I don't know jack shit about firearms, really. Very very very limited experience with them. Don't really care about them or for them. Yes I wasn't there I don't know how afraid they where or how the adrenalin pumped thru their bodies etc etc etc. But from the article they did surround the susp...

Most handguns have what - around 10 rounds in them. It was more then 120 shots to basically they just all emptied a clip and hit zero. If they had been using revolvers they would have had to stop and reload and then start up again. I don't know what kind of guns the LAPD takes along but to me firing...

Atleast 13 officers fire more then 120 rounds but only score 4 hits and they also mange to engage in some friendly fire and hitting pretty much everything but the target ... WOW!
Don't they get any kind of fire arms training ?

Another problem with having drugs legal is the same as having alcohol being legal- using and driving. However, in most cases, drugs have worse side effects than alcohol, and would cause even more accidents. As it is, people get killed easily enough by other people who are in their cars stoned out o...

The general arguement for making any drug legal is cost. As long as government control of the product is strictly regulated for proper medical use, I don't see a problem. Well, there's always the potential for abuse, but it'll still probably cost taxpaxers less. But the cost in making what is today...

Heroin prescription 'cuts costs' Since the 'war on drugs' appears to be more or less a giant failure this might be a possible way out. If drugs were not illegal would that not create a drastic drop in crime, ok not just directly but also indirectly since crimes doesn't have to be commited to get th...

Depends, if i'm in a hurry i'll go irc:ing on efnet. If I can wait a few extra hours I usually fetch it from the pirate bay. Loosing BTEFNet was an inconvenience to say the least, it was so simpe to just pop by there and fetch it.
