Sal already knows this, but I have some serious heat issues with my machine. My solution is a box fan pointed directly at the open case. Another cause could be a failing boot disk or drive controller.

Definately the Epi, yeah. My Bro recently got an Epiphone Les Paul Classic, and it has a really sweet tone, with very good range. Very playable, and very good quality on the better Epis. As far as amplification is concerned, you wouldn't even hear a 15W amp in the room I'm in. Always err on the side...

Oh, yes. I've observed that, done it myself sometimes. Most of the time I don't use a knife when eating, so it rarely comes up for me, and I usually don't think about how other people eat.
