Well... I settled on something a bit different. It's 1.5oz Stoli Vodka, 1.5oz Red Bull, 1oz. Triple Sec poured over cracked ice in a glass, add lime juice (about 1/4 lime of fresh squeezed) fill glass with orange-pineapple juice, and add a dash of the Rihaku. It feels like somebody is hammering on m...

Mixed Drinks!
I'm bored, sitting at home, and thought I'd pose a challenge for everyone: Come up with the best mixed drink using any of the following: Stolichnaya Vodka Triple Sec Orange-Pineapple Juice Johnny Walker Red Label Dry Gin Rihaku Sake (Junmai Ginjo-Really good stuff) Bacardi Silver Dry Vermouth Cranbe...

Definately the Epi, yeah. My Bro recently got an Epiphone Les Paul Classic, and it has a really sweet tone, with very good range. Very playable, and very good quality on the better Epis. As far as amplification is concerned, you wouldn't even hear a 15W amp in the room I'm in. Always err on the side...

I suppose it's just the type of music I listen to live (small Punk-Rock shows, outdoor folk festivals), but I hardly ever hear prerecorded sound at a live show. I guess what I'm trying to say is: there's not that much stuff, and anyway, that's what roadies are for. It's probably just as easy to lug ...

Look, I don't support the war in Iraq, for weapons of mass destruction or any other reason, but the notion that the war in Iraq is unjustifiable because we haven't gone to war with North Korea is absurd; the two cases simply aren't comparable in any way save that each country is mean and has bad we...

I have a problem with lip-synching. Sure, lip-synching well takes talent, but not nearly as much talent as actually singing the damn thing, and in my mind if you don't have the necessary talent to actually sing live you do not belong on a stage. There are plenty of other musical performers who have ...

I try to excuse myself before anyone can say anything, but otherwise apologise, usually with a simple sorry.Serious Paul wrote:Here's another question, how do you respond?
I usually say no thank you, which is usually followed by a discussion in which I have to defend my nonbelief in their gawd. So what do you say?

Don't look at me. My playlist is full of Dropkick Murphys, video game tunes, and anime soundtracks. Huh... so is mine, but with a healthy dose of Liquid Tension as well. Get some Liquid Tension Experiment. You'll probably stop mid-workout to listen slack-jawed to some of the riffs Petrucci rips thr...

when in Europe, I ate like a European [with the fork in my left hand]. Not to completely derail the thread, but you mean that you eat with fork in right hand normally when holding a knife? Are you left handed? Just something I find incredibly odd, but I may have just missed it over the last 20 year...
