The right place for that DLL would be the system32 directory under your Windows installation.

Default would be C:\WINDOWS\system32\

If it doesn't work just go with Winamp or some other player. Windows Media Player is not the best one out there.

http://desktop.google.com/ is perfect for spying on people. It doesn't display anything that isn't already available to you - it just makes everything easy to get to. It is great for figuring out what other people have been doing on the PC, reading their webmail, etc.. Lots of fun.
